Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Klosmith collects, why, and what you can do about it. Many Klosmith users are teens, so we collect as little as we can.

Age

• Klosmith is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
• Users under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission to use Klosmith.
• If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email support@klosmith.example and we'll delete it.

What we collect

• Your email address, to sign you in and contact you about your account.
• If you sign in with Google or Discord: the name, email address and profile picture they share with us, so we can sign you in and show your picture in Klosmith. We don't get your password or anything else from those accounts.
• Still frames from your gameplay clips (not the video). Your video stays on your device; we store a small number of still images per clip so the AI can understand the game and you can see them later.
• What you make: your notes, answers, your game's design, the build plan and the Luau code.
• Credits and purchases: your credit balance and history. Payment details are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
• Your handle and share links, if you share an achievement card. A card shows only your handle, the achievement and (if you allow it) your own game's name. Anyone with a link can see that card until you revoke the link or turn sharing off in Settings.
• Basic technical data: logs of errors and of each AI request (which model, how many tokens, how long it took), used to keep Klosmith working and to control costs.

We don't ask for your real name, age, school, address or phone number, and we don't sell your data.

How the AI uses your content

Your still frames, notes, answers and game files are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to analyse your gameplay and write your game. Anthropic processes this for us under its commercial terms and does not use it to train its models.

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
• Vercel: website hosting
• Anthropic: the AI (Claude)
• Inngest: running build jobs
• Resend: sending sign-in emails
• Stripe: payments, if you buy credits
• Roblox: only if you connect your Roblox account to save games there
• Sentry, PostHog and Langfuse, if enabled: error reports, anonymous usage statistics and AI cost tracking, without names or emails

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. Deleting a game deletes its frames and files. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, payment records).

Your choices and rights

• See, download or delete your data: email us and we'll help.
• Parents and guardians can ask to see or delete their teen's data.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, US states or Korea), you may have more rights. Contact us to use them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, each account can only see its own games, and secret keys stay on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your email account safe.
